Like most Mogeko characters, Yukisada has both a humanized form and an animal form- namely, a snowy owl.
He comes from a small village in an icy region, and is presumably the town doctor.
Quite good-natured and nice all around, he tends to have an optimistic view, though it does make him a bit naive at times as well.
Still, he does berate anyone that's been mean to his friends, albeit gently.
Is willing to help out anyone, even going so far as to let them stay at his own house (like his friend, Shirogane)
